I'm giving this five stars because I had fun installing it, and that's ultimately what it was built for. That being said, what previously attracted me to this kit was that it has more lighting and also comes with a music box, and the video makes it look like a DIY electronics project. Which is pretty good to me. However, the part that remains and is worth mentioning, is anything with color, any detail- trains, audiences, shops, literally everything requires cutting paper by hand and using decoupage techniques to create it. I mistook them for Stickers, like other Kits I've done before, or that the paper would at least be cut, but no, you have to use scissors or a vinyl cutter to clean them up. Although I have a vinyl cutter, the task of creating a precision painting cutting paper isn't worth the effort so I just use scissors, so far they look good, but they are very precise and quite error prone.
The product is great , but I am not recommending this for beginners . really hard to assemble the pieces together since it doesn’t have any linker to connect. 100% glue .
